The power of self-expression is transformative. However, many girls and youth struggle to find their voice, lacking confidence to articulate their thoughts and emotions. Our Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) trainings aim to bridge this gap.
Through interactive sessions, learners gained confidence in self-identity, thoughts, feelings, and behavior management. They discovered their uniqueness and set focused personal and career goals. Group activities fostered collaboration, creativity, and open communication.
During our trainings, learners shared concerns about:
1. Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) ignorance and pressure.
2. Absenteeism, dropping out, and early marriages.
3. Transition challenges from childhood to adulthood.
To address these issues, J.M Education and Research Centre (JMERC) implements a Schoolwide ecosystem of support, starting with SEL training. Our goal: empower girls and youth to realize their potential and thrive.
We exist to:
1. Navigate life challenges.
2. Equip learners with essential life skills.
3. Foster a supportive ecosystem.
