Empowering Youth Through Vocational Skills

At JMERC, we believe that quality education relies on a collaborative network of empowered, engaged, and motivated individuals, each playing their part to support every child's learning. Our program focuses on developing and accelerating the connection and collaboration between the education stakeholders - school leaders, teachers, parents and community leaders - all involved in supporting students and the provision of quality education in a complementary manner.

JMERC partners with primary and secondary schools in rural communities in Uganda, focusing on empowering and engaging the school stakeholders, to perform their roles and duties towards students' learning in the best way they can. Each of the stakeholders - school leaders, teachers, parents and community leaders receives a specialized package targeting their role in students' learning. School leaders are particularly supported to put in place structures that a collaborative school environment for all stakeholders to engage and contribute towards students' learning.
